One sample line from this pattern. Unlock for the full breakdown and more variants.
“So about a month ago my brother and I did something we'd never done before.”
- 01Start with a precise time anchor — 'a month ago', 'yesterday', 'X years ago'.
- 02Name the person, place, or object in the same breath so the scene feels real.
- 03Withhold the lesson — the hook is the moment, not the moral.
- 04Keep the first line under 12 words so it lands before the scroll.
- 05Promise a turn by hinting something was noticed, decided, or changed.
